My Alfa race car

Well, aside from my Verde daily driver, I thought I'd throw up a picture of my Alfa race car fresh from the Nationals race.

My favorite brand of remote controls.

Ahh, the old Serpent, cool car. The car in the pic is my old Mugen MRX-3 with a Frewer body. 1/8 scale nitro onroad is my main class and I currently run a Kyosho Evolva.

It's rare that the coolest looking body happens to be the one that performs the best too. Parma did a great job on this 156 and it worked great.

Yep. Very old. I got her like 14 years ago when I was in junior high
Hence the restoration.
It has the old EX-10 (one the first KO Propo with 6 car settings and a DOT MATRIX LCD screen) - damn, i am old
I am going to put the HPI Toyota GT-ONE body on it when it done. (Just for fun, that chassis is too old to race)
But it has an ITALIAN engine on it!! A 14 year-old .21 TOP engine!!

Any idea where I can find the three speed gearbox for the Excel?

I am amazed that I can still find all kind of parts for her as long as I have the part#.

My first "Alfa" was a Kyosho Lazer (modded to on-road) with a Kyo 1:10 155V6Ti DTM (the one that is not to scale unlike ur 1:10) - that was a BRICK aerodynamicly!! It only looked good, but I had to put a Skyline R32 body on it for race.

Only if they have an Alfa T33 1:8 body...
