NWARC Bremerton, WA lapping day

Hey All,

The NWARC had a lapping day at Bremerton Raceway this past Friday. As we expected, the heavens opened up and brought some torrential rain. No problem, as real track folk are prepared for this sort of thing.

We had a beautiful '65 Spider Veloce in vintage racing trim driven to the track. Brave man.

I got to drive a 3.0 Milano with some goodies in it one session, and was really impressed by how fast and smooth it was. It was easy to drive it fast.

Here are some pics from the event.

bremerton rain

What is that crazy eldo? What is on the back?

Looked like fun. Too bad I had to work. I saw that little race car at G2--I like the belt buckles. Nice touch.

No events I trust? Pete

That would be a Noble. http://www.noblecars.com/home.htm Damned fine looking car, and a true performer. Amazing tow car as well, eh?

The spider has no rust that I saw! It just came from California. Look for it in SOVREN races this year.

Oh, pinkie, the 164 Prototype!! Yes, Kathleen pedals that car around as fast as she can. We even saw a grand spin.

yellow spider

My bet is that his roll bar doesn't pass tech. He'll have to remove a couple disks, lower the seat, or have his head flattened. Maybe he could put a gurney bubble in the floor pan. That looks like a current helmet so we wouldn't want to mess with that!
