sorry guys, I meant pics of how the convertible top is fixed to the various points on the frame like the front bow and at the body behind the door. also of how the vinyl mat affixes to the car on the rear shelf. I hope this helps; just basically any kind of pics I can get of these areas. They would be nice to archive on the BB as there aren't many pics of this subject. thanks everyone.

Dan got his 69 spider delivered on a truck without any interior, just boxes and a pair of seats, a stopped in the process restoration and hasnt seen how everything goes together. I have a 74 spider, but the top and such are different. He has the engine and transmission ready to go in and the steering rebuilt, now ready to do the interior.

Yellow Spider
I almost bought that (formerly of Portland) Yellow Spider! I get yellow repaint temptation every time I see it. It was sold the first time before I could run down to Portland to see it. Then the guy who bought it resold it a few months later!

Do you have any info on this car? The PO bought it from Portland and said he did not have any info. As you said he did not have it very long.
It is in GREAT shape. Just a few minor adjustments after I got it. It really turns heads!

A little bit
I talked to the gentleman who restored it originally. He said his wife had skin cancer so he didn't want a convertible (sun exposure) anymore. Personally, I would have got a hat and sunscreen SPF40 or something. He also told me the other color he was thinking about was green (like my previous 69 spider). But other than that I don't remember much. I was heading to Portland to see it, and when I called a second time, it had been sold before the end of the ebay auction. It sold for around 14K. Anyway, if you want to find the owner, ask the guys in the Portland Alfa club. I'm sure they'll remember that Ferrari Yellow Alfa!
Now be that as it may, there is nothing stopping me from a can of yellow paint, but I really think such a color deserves a V6 with an Alfa five speed! Something along these lines.

Alfa Romeo Head Turners.
How about the Alfa girls on the banner instead of a car for a while?
Has anyone had their car hijacked (people seem to be covering license plate numbers)????????

Yes it does need more power. My only complaint is the lack of REAL power. Every rice burner at every light wants to race. I have to just look cool. It has the suspension and brakes for it but only stock engine Do you have any info on the engine in the pic? I don't recognize it. I am new to the Alfa world.

As promised : A little album
Don't look at the pleasure pictures ... It was the first day of 2006 here in Belgium that temperature made it possible to drive the whole day in our Bella ( 18 °C ... we don't have heating in the car )
I hope this 'll help you .

Beautifull Duetto Kristal! If you don't mind, could you tell me if the red seat covers are available? I have been trying to purchase them for my '67 Duetto and cannot find seat covers to match the red door panels from OKParts.

Did you try allready http://www.highwoodalfa.com ? It's a link from the www.veloce.se site . They have almost everything .
Our seats were originally in red ( We know thanks to archiviostorico ) . We "resprayed" them a year ago , also a good solution .
