Bad day for the Milano

As some of you may remember, I have been trying to get the heads fixed on my Verde and everything that can happen in my life has. Here's the latest: a 16 year old who loses control of his car, ricochets off the house and smashes into my garage:

The milano was parked against the garage wall:

Honestly nothing. I was upset when I got home (I was at work, happened at 9AM) and was just startled by it all. His poor dad was there and he looked just as shocked as me..

I really cant understand why in the US 16yrolds are allowed to drive alone - im sure the accident rate is phenomenal, as your testimony shows.

Whats the smoke in the first picture??

Sorry to hear about this mate, lets just hope you dont get rooted around with insurance.

The Ninja's plastic and support is all smashed because of the impact with the Milano. Hopefully it isn't totaled due to the damage. The milano's rear swung about 40 to 45 degree in place.

The smoke is my breath as it was cold and I was close to hyperventilating at the site of my babies all damaged.. I took the pictures that morning. The policeman was telling me to get out of the garage (in case it went down) and I just didn't care.

Yes indeed the games with the insurance have begun.. On top of that the town will let me rebuild in place but I want two more bays. The town ordinance JUST changed (like two weeks ago the same time of the accident) that governs where a garage can be so if I want two more bays I have to be creative!

I agree! I think kids should get drivers licenses when they are old enough to drink!
Sorry about your verde! I don't think it is you, alfa has some weird curse about them.
magnet for disaster sometimes!

Well - yeah - i think perhaps dont go the Australian path of offering those two responsibilites at the same time (i.e Driving AND drinking) - but for the US to say that the responsibility of driving solo is suitable for a 16yo and the purchase and consumption of alcohol as a 21yo responsibility is a bit odd - If anything I'd make the drinking age 16 or 17 so they've gotten over it a bit by the time they get licences at 18/19.
