There are a few Lancia Delta Integrales floating around legally in the US!
The only one I've seen pictures of was an 8v on the east coast somewhere.

Its good to hear that ye all are happy with the pictures, I nearly wet myself when I saw them never a 037 or Delta in real life. There is a rally Stratos in Ireland all right.

These pictures made me cry.Look what Fiat accountants did to Lancia. The luxury Fiat Punto is Lancia Ypsilon ,Fiat Idea is Lancia Mussa and Fiat Ulysse is Lancia Phedra. And they are calling that a complete Lancia range. They didn't tell us where are the customers. In the meantime silly cars (citroen xsara and japanese-call me subaru- boxes) dominate the WRC.Congratulations Fiat.

Great pictures! Thank you for sharing them.
I've been very serously considering the purchase of a Stratos over the past few weeks, and these pictures just add more fuel to the fire.
The Stratos is much more popular over in Europe, than it is here in US. There were only about 450 of them ever made. But the replica market is very strong, with one company (Hawk/formerly Transformer) continuing to make parts for owners of the original Lancia Stratos.
The car I am currently looking at is a CAE Corse I, and it is the only one currently in the US. Best count on Hawks, is 6 or 7. A yellow Hawk with a Ferrari 308 motor sold last year in (I think) the mid-$30K range.
The difference between the two kits is the chassis. Hawk is built like the original Lancia Stratos. The Corse has an updated suspension with IRS. and the Corse cars have performed very well in European Rally's over the years.
I've attached some pictures of the Alitalia Grp4 Stratos.
I have ton's more photos. Enjoy!

Some (the Stradale's) have nicer interiors.

..and the Alfa V6 is the most popular engine.
And not just in the Stratos!
Also is a pic of the kit I "may" purchase.

The Ferrari engine is impressive, but for me it's needless expense. The Alfa V6 can deliver plenty of power, probably just as much as the Ferrari 308 motor. Plus it's closer to the original motor in spirit.

Well, in cylinders for sure. In marque pehaps not. The original (as I'm sure you are aware) had the 2.4L V6 246 from the Dino. Very expensive though...
But, the Alfa certainly delivers more than adequate power for the car. I've been told that, more than 200hp makes the car a little too powerful anyway. So it's probably the best choice. Also, the Alfa V6 24V is now what most people in the UK are seeking to install in their cars. And the Alfa V6 is what has won in many of the Rally's with the Corse I kit.
There are also a few cars that have the Lancia 4cyl that delivers about the same hp, with less weight. But I wonder how it sounds.
However, the sound of that 308 with the right pipes, would be music to my ears for sure!

I never knew that there were Stratos kit cars....
Thats pretty nice to know...i thought it would be completely impossible to get a Stratos.
The Lotus Europa kit cars also use Alfa V6's.

What I meant by "in spirit", is the Alfa and Dino V6s were both designed around the same time, they are both the same basic configuration, both Italian, and both indended to be something between a Ferrari and a Fiat. I suspect that if the Alfa motor had been ready it and politics been a little different it may have ended up in the Stratos.
The Fiat/Lancia 2.0L is a fine motor, capable of big power numbers. There is one near me that has over 180hp without forced induction. Personally I love the Fiat/Lancia twin cam.
Don, who make that Europa kit?
