2 GTA's Reunited After 40 Years!
So we get another rhd 1600 GTA in the shop. Rhd GTA's are hard to come by and all of a sudden I am looking at two of them side by side in our shop. I start too look at the latest one and it looks like it's lived a rough life and is asking for a second chance. After looking the car over for about half an hour, I pop the hood and read the chassis number... 752 556. 752 556. 752 556. I then walk over to our white GTA and pop the hood on it. I read 752 557. 752 557. 752 557. HOLY $HIT WE HAVE TWO GTA'S WITH SEQUENCIAL SERIAL NUMBERS BESIDE EACH OTHER IN OUR SHOP! After 40 years of being apart, these two cars are reunited. Interestingly, both cars are originally red so they could very well have been in the spray booth together. The complete history of 752 556 is unknown but I do have names of previous owners here in the US and in England so we'll see what can be dug up. The rear wheel arches and 14x7 wheels leads be to believe the car was raced at some point? We are not sure how the car will be restored right now. It would make a nice vintage racer to run side by side with the white car and on the other side, it'd be nice to have a street GTA. We'll see what happens over the course of the next few months when work starts on it. Here are some pictures of what it looks like as of this morning.

Congratz on the new car! Very nice.
I think I it that over there the other day. Could that be right?
I'm going back (hopefully) tomorrow to get my O2 sensor. I'll make sure to take a closer look.

Oh I wish it was ours but it's a customers car. I gotta talk to him about selling it to us. How cool would it be to own both cars!
Yeah you probably saw it. The car has been in the shop since last week.

Anthony, those look like the Auto Delta fender flares of the type I am seeking for 752507. Do you agree that they are A/D. Can you send some detail pics.
Anyone know of any such flares in Aluminum available I would appreciate leads.
Ciao
Ken

Anthony, your shop is the GTA heaven!!!
I wish you were a little bit closer to Italy..!!!
It's funny, but most of GTAs now are very far from their "nest"... :-)
Ciao!

Ken,
I've seen a few different flares in the past and these actually look like the ones you see on old Autodelta cars.
I'll take good pics of them this weekend and send them off to you and post them on this thread.
I know an old pannel beater that could probably reproduce these to the exact specs. I'll look into that as well.

I'm still in disbelief. Next time I take the white GTA to the shop, I am gonna take pictures of the cars together.
