The rims on Sean's Spider or the rims on the '69 Duetto?

They might be Centerlines, or possibly clones. Real centerlines consist of two spun aluminum halves riveted together. Look-a-likes are probably one piece cast Aluminum. See http://www.centerlinewheels.com/main_wheel.php and search under "Race Wheels", for "Autodrag". The wheels on my Spider are 9 x 15, and are very light. Of course, modifications like this are not original... I have eight of these wheels for autocross activities.
Regarding the original post, the yellow '71 looks like it has a lot of promise. I bought a '71 as my only new car and ran the wheels off the thing. The best modification was the change to a '72 limited slip rear axle. I'm not sure of the production numbers, but a square tail 1750 was only made for the one year, so there is some rarity associated with this model

I know they are not original Alfa, but the are easier to clean then the Turbinas on my 77 Spider.

Hi Simon,
I'm still on some cheap ugly steel wheels right now; I'm trying to find some really good condition steel wheels from a newer spider or graduate as that looks more period correct. The factory hub-cap steel wheels just don't look right to me. Of course I'd love to have Daytonas on there!

Still figuring out those rims hah?
Its been a while. So your Yellow lightning is running? I just had my engine and transmission completely rebuild with some fun parts added to it. Still have those Turbinas I want to get rid off and I actually now am confident that my car would survive the trip up north if you want to make the switch.
Let me know.
