The cars were out for "National Drive It Day" when classic car owners in the UK are encouraged to hit the road.
About 15 cars initially turned up including an MGB, Mini Moke, 68 Beetle plus a superb '69 Triumph Bonneville (just visible in the first photo in a gap between the cars).
Most cars dropped out of our rain-swept drive and presumably went back home! I don't know the variety of the Roller - but yes the other is an Austin 7 (there are at least 2 locally).
However, I was given the details of another Spider driver in my area - which is pretty amazing as I haven't seen another spider since we moved here 5 years ago!
We spoke on the 'phone and will meet up shortly (after he has had remedial work done to his gear box). He only lives about 8 miles away and has got a '73 (I think) LHD US import which he rescued from a field somewhere.
