Alfa's UK marketing was always quite clever. I owned a 1978 Giulietta like this with a window sticker which read "We've made you an Alfa you can't refuse".
My current 75 has "Alfa Romeo - A Race Apart" in the back window.
Hey Jim, it'll be interesting to see what Klaus has found but from the ads I have it doesn't look like all of them but more than the other countries' ads.

This ad was framed and spent 20 years on my office wall until I retired this past June. It had already been my dream car for as long as I could remember.
Ricardo, beautiful ads, including one of my country, about the known pilot Piero Gancia, who died in 2010.
For greater clarity, let me repeat here the GTV6 german ad, post # 16:
Couldn't take a scan as the book format is strange, i.e. about 23cm x 23cm, and the spine is possibly too fragile to risk opening out completely flat. Quite a rarity though ....
In this ad Alfa no longer uses the name Giulia, it says only Alfa Sprint GTV. What's the year of the ad?
