New member (GTV -72)
Greetings fellow Alfisti!
Iīve had a lot of help from You all by studying this great forum since last spring when I became the lucky owner of a 2000 GTV -72. Originally sold in Rome and imported to sweden in the seventies. Colour: Verde olivo metallizzato 213. Previous owners have been kind enough not to expose her from the snow and salt of the Swedish winters. Sheīs in well kept original condition, just a little rust as for a 8-9 year old car and runs well after a dedicated alfa workshop changed membranes in the Dellortos, and all fluids, filters etc. She also got yellow Konis. I guess next thing will be new tires and brake pads (Itīs like heaven to drive but I really wouldnīt end up there yet...). Interior is original and has patina, especially the outer part of the drivers seat, sometime I will invest in tan leather, probably for the price of a nice Spider though.
A little info about myself: Year -77, interests: lots of, (e g history, movies), Occupation: MD (fascinating how some cars have more personality than certain people...)
As the snow just has started to fall and the days are short I post some pics from this summer.
Regards/Felix

Felix, che bella!!! Try to maintain her originality as much as possible. Think of it as Sophia Lauren without the boob job. Even better original than any man messing with that beauty.

Grazie!! I totally agree. The Giulia-body just doesnīt look right with bling bling Humwee wheels some people disfigure their classic cars with. I think there was a thread that showed examples of that and worse, the horror, the horror...
I understand the race enthusiasts though, however, I think there are to few "original" cars around and also, You have more use of a car that you can drive around on country roads without a kidney-belt and also bring friends and stuff.
More pics will come, but now itīs almost midnight , see You tomorrow!
/Felix

Thank you for the comments. Here are som more pics. Enjoy!
It wasnīt a group travel, just a lucky coincidence that the 156 was there. If I remember right the car behind was a Volvo V50 i think, itīs nose look kind of weird.

More pics. The contrast to the typical swedish work horse is not unsignificant... Now I a radio from the era is fitted. The blanket is an orignal 60īs blanket I kept from my previous car, an old M-B I bought as a student, a project that that was doomed from the beginning.

Good neighburs
Also by coincidence, these encounters occured in my street. Two generations of GTV and a nice green metallic 156, actually both are designed by Guigiario, right?
