Very very nice! Would love to have one of those especially here on the east coast. Give us some backround on her, 4wd, 4 or 5 speed etc. Ever have her in the snow? Looks great!

I love the Matta. I really want one. It's way cooler than a Land Rover anyway. I wonder how much one would cost nowadays? Thanks for the pics, look forward to seeing the rest of your collection bro.

Hello everyone

Can I jump on the bandwagon and show off a little too ....my Matta was restored about nine years ago. Imported from Italy by me, to the UK in April 2004.....my little Tonka Toy

Giovanni - your Matta looks GREAT!!! Are you in contact with Enrico? When was yours built? Mine was used by the Italian Police and is very rare, one of the roughly 200 used for civil purposes. I love it!!!

Some pics....first one is on temporary paper number plates

look at these Italians, even in a crude military vehicle, they still manage to make the engine look good with that sexy alfa romeo writing on the heads.....

Torpedo 1900 M

In the Alfa Romeo Catalogue Raisonné by Sergio Puttini, there is a picture published of an ‘Torpedo 1900 M’ on trail as it comes down the bleachers.
The front of the car looks completely different than the one from a regular 1900 M.
Is there somebody who has a little bit more information about this car?

I believe this is the first Matta or a hybrid of the Land Rover and Alfa 1900 engine; and was the test mule until the real body was designed.

Another picture here:
