Two. I need to get a tarp for it, but I've been busy as hell with school (spring '06 semester just started) and haven't had a car this week, so I've been putting it off. There's almost no interior, and I need to re-do what's left anyways, so I'm not too worried.. I'll cover it next week though.

Donbeeson,

That's an alfa 6 (sei), a luxury 4-door sedan from 70-80s, which debuted together with the legendary alfa V6 we all love . The design of the car does look like that of alfetta sedan, but the sei is bit larger and has transmission in "legular" location, directly attached right behind the engine. I do not know what kind of diesel engine does the sei uses though (5-cyl made by VM?).

Alfasudinusa,

Suds, 90 and diesel sei . Your alfa lineup is as weird as my mom's!!

BTW, the sei is the only alfa ever to have the same wheel bolt pattern as most of mercedes passenger cars. When my mom's mechanic parted the early 2.5 automatic sei out, we put the campagnolo turbinas (w/ 5 X 112mm pattern) on a W114 mercedes 280... The wheels looked pretty good on the car!!

Its odd that that sei says 'turbo diesel 5' and alfa 6 2.5
Whats the fuel economy on the diesel?
Was it imported here ever?

I think that the badges suggest that the car has "2.5 liter, straight 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine".

I do not know anything about the fuel economy of the car .

The sei was never officially imported to the US. There were quite few alfa models from 70s and 80s that didn't reach the US; sei, sud (berlina, giardinetta and sprint), 116 giulietta (the predecessor of 75/milano) and 90 (modernized alfetta sedan). I have seen a burgandy early sei for sale on alfaheaven.com, so alfasudinusa's sei is not the only one here in the US.

Hi,

I always liked unusual cars like the Alfa 90 or Sei.

Red Alfa Spiders (or white ones) are just NOT for me.
If they have tan interior that would make it even worse.

Well, then again, at least somebody has to love the 4 door Alfas, otherwise
they would slowly disappear.

Best regards

Hans
