Momo Vegas
I took off the old turbinas and replaced them with a set of Momos.

Momo Vega's
John,
The Momo's look like they were made for your car, the silver is such a perfect match.
I'm glad they have gone to a good home.
Cheers
Jeff

Hey Jeff,
The black of the Momo's is a nice contrast to the silver. And the offset is nice, too.
Thanks for the wheels!

Momo Vegas are my favourite period wheel option for 105's. They also came in 4x98 to suit Alfetta but they seem to be even more rare.
But how about this… they also came in 5x108 !? Found this on ebay.
I wonder what other cars these wheels have appeared on?

Interesting. Here's another version of the Vega - integrated centers, 4x108.

There are/were actually three types of Vega's produced.
1. Solid cast in centres, thin silver profile around 6 cutouts
2. Solid cast in centres, thick silver profile around 6 cutouts
3. Plastic centre caps, thick silver profile around 6 cutouts
Stud spacing varying on application.
I believe Alfaholics in the UK has started reproducing the plastic centre caps for the later type.
I have no idea about whether they came in different sizes or offsets. All the ones I've ever seen have been 14x6 (?)

Adam,
I have two 6.5 inchers in my set of four. The other two are 6". Diameter 14 for all four.

Momo vegas's
Here's a pic of my Duetto with Momo wheels. Bought them in the early 70's. About 5 years ago I needed new tires so I caustic washed the wheels, cleaned and rinsed and had them painted with Imron. Since the were manufactured before the Salt tests I felt this would help with any pittingor corrosion. As aftermarket wheels go I feel the look good on any Alfa.

Great looking Duetto Lee. I've always liked the way the Vegas look on Spiders and GTV's.

Nice wheels, Lee; they look best with red-colored cars. What size tires are those, 205s?
