New Member,New Alfa Romeo
Hi Alfisti
I decided to join your forum because I find it really interesting: a place where you can share your passion for Alfa Romeos together with other competent alfisti!
This is the aim of a forum!
For me it's a pleasure to participate to AlfaBB!
My name is Giovanni,I'm in Switzerland and I collect Alfa Romeo together with my brother and my cousin. I contracted the "virus Alfa" when I was a child (always Alfa Romeo in my family) and since than I had a great passion for everything concerning Alfa Romeo: real cars, scale models, books, brochures,....
We collect Alfa from the sixties to the early nineties (exept for an Alfa "Matta" AR 51, the oldest Alfa in our collection).
We have several 105 series models, Montreal, Alfettas, Alfa 6s, new Giulietta, 90, 75s, Milanos, Alfasud, 33s, Arna,164s.
I decided for the username GiuliaSprintGTA because I always dreamed when I was reading articles and books of this great Alfa icon; and since a Giulia Sprint GTA Autodelta joined our collection, you can understand how happy I am.
I hope my english could be understandable; I apoligize in advance for my mistakes.
Here are some pictures of my cars, in different locations and garages (always the same problem: find a place for your new Alfa), in order to share my passion together with other real alfisti!
Best regards
Giovanni

Hi Alfisti
Italcarguy, Alfa75 88, Papajam many thanks for your kind words
Answering to Italcarguy, with great pleasure, I talk about our Giulia Sprint GTA.
The car was delivered new to Autodelta on october, 12 1965.Autodelta prepared the car for Jolly club which raced the car for some seasons.
Than the car passed to "Squadra Corse Monzeglio" (painted in Yellow with brown check pattern on the roof).
The car received all the modifications according to 1968 fiches (wide wheel arches, 8x13 Campagnolo, ATE aluminium pliers, and so on).
Then the car raced in northern Italy for some years and then in Sicily during the eighties.
We bought the car some years ago; we found the ex mechanic of "Squadra Corse Monzeglio" who rebuilt us all the mechanics: new engine, new gear box, new suspensions, new differential and so on (the body had been already restored).
It's a joy to drive this car on circuit as well on the street.
In fact the car is street legal and has the number plates.
Not the ones shown in the pictures, MI A98188 which are still the original, no more valid.
The car in origin was white.
Here are some pics

Wow, I'm speechless!
Is that your 75 Polizia that is visible in the background of the picture with the dark gray 75 TS? Could you post some more pics of the 75 Polizia if it indeed is yours?

Hello alfisti
Vivace, Alfa 63, PSK, Max Banks, thanks for your kind comments and for sharing the passion for Alfa Romeo
Alfa 75 88:
the Alfetta's colour is "verde olive metallizzato AR 213" (olive green met.);
great colour! We bought this Alfetta four years ago from the first owner.
AR4me:
hello Jes; yes I own two Alfa 75 Polizia; they were the police car of our municipality. They are 75 Twin Spark.I'll post with pleasure the pics perhaps in a new thread. We bought them in 1998.One is still original the other one had been repainted.
We begin collecting Alfa Romeo seriously in 1988 when we decided to begin the collection keeping the cars bought new by our family.
And then we continued on buying Alfas, always saying "This is the last one"....
