shed find?
(This is probably a better place to post this, rather than "I Spy..."
I know it's hard to tell, but I believe this is a yellow (246?) Dino under a tarp in a shed on a dirt alley in my neighborhood. Mind you this is Montana - not something we see everyday. It's behind what appears to be a college rental house. I was riding my mtn bike and saw 4 Italian pipes sticking out...thought, Corvette or something? No, curved Italian pipes. Went back. Without attracting big dogs or a guy with a shotgun, I peered under the tarp....DINO wheels! You don't usually put those on a kit car. Bright yellow quarter panel showing. The buttress shape, windshield, fender shape - all there under the tarp and piles of garbage bags. Hmmm...my son and I will investigate further and report.

Yeah, go see how much you can steal it for. It might just be an old car to someone who hasn't followed the prices in a while. Pelase keep us posted.

I think it's a GTS, as the tarp droops between the windshield and the roll bar, and it has the black at the bottom of the panels (like this photo).
My son and I will see if anyone answers the door this weekend (he's excited) - at least get a photo or two.
I saw my first real Dino in the flesh (rather than Road & Track) in college at 18 yrs old, in downtown Bozeman, MT (really). Black GTS, CA plates, a little blue smoke coming out the pipes, but Gawd, that SOUND!

Remember don't act too excited. If they aren't aware of it's real value, make it seem like you are doing them a favor by taking it away from their driveway.

Um.. that car's rear haunches look way too muscular for a dino...Im thinking..275 gtb/4!! or even do I dare say it Lambo Miura??!!! Ok maybe not that wide and the rear louvres would be more obvious I think.... either way, its something with some nice curves haha
edit. i got so excited I didnt even read the whole thread.. ah.. "just" a dino.. haha jk great car, hope the guy comes out telling you its not a real ferrari and wants to sell it cheap. haha.. good luck

I hope they sell it to you cheap so you can fix it up and do what you're supposed to do with that type of car....."DRIVE IT".
Good luck - I look forward to the updates.

Me thinks the owner knows exactly what it is hence the tarp, etc. ... one of those 'gunna' projects, ie. 'Going to restore it one day ...'

If Psk is right, then the obvious thing to do is invite the owner(s) to join AlfaBB! Then we can at least experience the restoration vicariously!

That car would live in my bedroom and not under a tarp.
Hell I managed to kick the old girls brand new Mercedes out of the garage for my Alfa.....I'd hate to think what I'd do for a Dino.
At least get them to stick that sucker on some blocks to avoid the damp from the concrete below.
