Concorso Pics
Didn't get many pics, but here are a few.
For those of you who have never attended - a ritual on Saturdays, after Laguna Seca, is a wine tasting hosted by Wes and Maggie Clark. In addition to making very fine wine, they offer the hospitality of their home and a spectacular view of the valley for a mini Alfisti festa. Greet old friends (including one who called from Australia to say hello), make new friends.

The last one was Gene Browns beautiful (and fast) Montreal. This one should be the field of GTV's.

Name the car
Well since I was in attendance, I am not permitted to name the car, but I must comment that it was probably the most beautiful car that I saw.
I say "that I saw" because I learned that the Brera was at the show and somehow I never got to see it! I have been crying ever since I saw the photos on the AlfaCentro website.
I LOVE the Brera. I would give my left nut for that car. And somehow I missed it. We skipped the Concours at Pebble Beach in favor of sitting in traffic on the 101 for 8 hours. So again we missed Brera.
I hope they show it somewhere local soon. If not, we will have to take a trip to Italy to see it.

Anthony and I didn’t get a chance to make it to the Concourse event but we did go to the Historic Races at Laguna Seca on Saturday and Sunday. Not only were there tons of rare and collectible cars but also they were all turning laps on the track. I've got to admit its one thing to see rare cars but a whole different experience to hear them and see them racing. I'll be posting a gallery of images sometime this week. Until then here are a few snap shots.
This one is a one-off. The guy who was loading this Alfa Romeo mentioned that it was worth over 4 million dollars.

There were like 5 or 6 TZ1's racing and one of them lost a wheel on the cool down lap. It was crazy!

This is one of 3 GTA's that were racing. It looks just like Anthonys GT Jr.
