that car is crazy lookin'. last night i happened to rear the auction report of the car n Sports car Market Letter. it's amazing how it brought in $283,000 in auction. cool part is that they didn't even clean it, the car was sold "as found" which included a rats nest or two from sitting in the garage for so long.

Yeah, weird and the guy that owned it actually drove it around and picked his kids up at school with it!

These cars remind me of those Popular Science magazines from the 1930's that had pictures of what cars from the 1950's and beyond would look like. I guess the B.A.T. design team took them seriously instead of realizing they were just trying to sell magazines!

Since this is my first post to the ABB, figured I might as well start out with a minor complaint. Would've been nice to just plug in Bat 7 in Search - but turns out there Must be at least seven characters.

Please note: Realizing this is a secret society, trying to be as stealthy as possible with my 'handle' and sig.

Ahhh, now come the BAT's: Purely rumor, but I understand the Dad owner of the BAT 7 cut off the fins so the car would look 'normal'. I'm not sure if this was before or after he'd drive his son to school and son opted to get out of the car several blocks from school. Certainly wouldn't want one's peers to see one in a one-off Bertone show car would one? Might this have something to do with son selling the car out from under Dad?

yes, re removed the "wings", but why is one of the things that i will not be able to answer. the dad moved back to sicily and i only see him when we go there once every other year. also, when i see him, i don't bring it up because i think he is still bitter about it, and i don't blame him.
