Couple of shots of my '86 Spider Graduate

I washed and polished her up over the weekend. Breaks my heart to want to sell her, I've only had her a few months! But I'm hoping to move on to something a little less rusty- this was my starter vehicle, got her cheap, and I've fixed up everything necessary to keep her running. I'm only looking for something less rusty because I like to do my own work... and rust is something I cannot work on!

She's for sale, located in Indiana, despite the plates. PM for more details, if you like.

Basics: '86 (late production) Graduate. Factory a/c and I think it had the factory radio. 144,000 miles, but a whole stack of records. Aside from the rust, she was well maintained. Paint is decent from 10 feet. looks a billion times better than when I got her.

Unless I get an amazing offer soon, I'll keep her until her replacement arrives, then swap over all the good parts (like the uncracked dash cap and great bumpers/spoiler). But she's not ready for retirement yet, lots of life left, with some welding. Mechanically a dream... hopefully the replacement will be, as well!

Is that a dash cap

I am currently in the process of buying a 84 spider for a really cheap price....of course it needs a dash or cap and also a top. But it comes with a new clutch, rebuilt tranny, battery and tires. It has been sitting..but I can't wait to get her in order so that I can drive it.

I have never seen a dash cap before. Does it look definitely like a "cap" or is does it look decent?

thanks

Sorry, it's actually not a dash cap... it's just the original dash. Don't see too many that aren't cracked.
