Actually Pat, I AM married...no comment about the "understanding" part!
I just added a few extra things. On Sunday, after changing the U-joints, I am headed over to meet with another Alfa friend, who had a friend who died avouple of weeks ago of a massive heart attack. He left his ex-wife a Porsche 928 and a Harley he custom-built. I'm going over to get some details on the bike and the car, so I can help the ex-wife sell them. Ohhh...and I almost forgot, my son just called and said he and a friend are coming for a visit tomorrow afternoon through Monday.
I guess I'll be just a bit busy this weekend, huh?
Life is good when you are busy!

Well here is me swapping engines on my alfa... this lifting of the engine so far has been the hardest part... I am swapping the flywheel, clutch, waterpump, and fuel injection pump onto the new engine now...

Oh fine, here's a pretty pic of me and the sweet sweet lover formerly known as the 8 Legged Steel Intestine. Later renamed the Phoenix for her amazing ability to rise from the ashes of her burned up engines.

Jacob,
What is that behind you in the picture? It appears to be part of some type of flying machine.

Jan and I went for a drive up to Spearfish, SD and drove down through Spearfish Canyon to see the changing colors of the trees. Put about 150 miles on the odometer. The Black Hills of South Dakota are beautiful all year round, but in the fall especially. Digital photos can't do justice to the beauty of the place. My sweetie in the right seat, a nice smooth road, no traffic, and lots of twisties with a good climb into Deadwood, SD afterwards. A perfect road for an open Spider. Just cool enough today to need a bit of cockpit heat if not wearing a jacket. Doesn't get much better than that.
Try it next time you're in the Black Hills.
