The full sized version isn't much bigger and weighs about the same. Max weight with two adults, an overnight bag, full gas tank is 750lbs.

Four Amigo's
Looks like the border patrol or movie cast of a Clint Eastwood western.

Dan,
What happened to the red one? Last I heard it was going in to be restored after some minor body damage?

It wasn't as minor as I first thought! After my son crunched the drivers side, it became apparant that there were a lot of serious issued under the skin- a lot more than I was willing or able to tackle at the time. The previous owner was less than forthcoming about his liberal use of Bondo, and the cancer ran deep- I found a pretty solid donor car, swapped out all the drive train parts I had previously rebuilt, and found a party interested in restoring the red one- he had restored some pretty far gone 50s and 60's Jags, Austins and MGs and had the capability and resources to properly restore it- he said he always wanted an Alfa to restore, so he took on the challenge. I hope he gets it solid and back on the road! Meantime, I'm slowly bringing the white one up to speed so to speak- Santo went through my engine and suspension before I moved to Arizona, and I plan to have the car stripped down, media blasted and painted eventually- its a pretty solid body, no bondo or hidden issues other than a color change I don't care for. The car was originally green, resprayed white at some point- I'm leaning toward silver when I eventually take on the body and paint, but want to do it right. First I have to get my house built- should be breaking ground this Spring when it warms up! Meantime, my new(er) Duetto is still a good driver and a hoot on the windy roads around here in Prescott!

This is C&SC Magazine's view of what I look like (February 2007 issue). Have to admit it's probably better than the real me.

Those of you that might remember The picture in the Alfa Owner way back in the seventies will find the hat gone, but so's the hair. But the Love of Alfa Romeo is still alive and kicking. Bring it on!!!
