I believe your front bumper is intended for a 69 berlina. The GTV bumper has a seam in the center and is much more curved. I have one for sale if you need it. The rest of the car looks beautiful! Well done.

That is seriously one of the best restorations ive seen on a gtv, but why oh why that front bumper? I mean you obviously put enough dime into this thing to rechrome the bumpers etc? Man those pics of the engine and underneath. breathtaking...

As one of the ancient warriors who actually sold these when they were new, I would say yours looks better today than the day it was delivered, Good Job!

Look Awsome!...I love the color and the way the car sits. I do have to say though that the bumper is a little off compared to the rest of the car. A '69 bumper would bolt on perfect and really clean up the front end if that's the goal. Smaller turn signal lights, ect... Even the rear bumper from a '69 or earlier would work for the rear. All in all a very nice example of a GTV. Makes me miss my old one.
Cheers,
Jeff

You did a really nice job although personally I would have returned everything to stock form. The car looks sweet. BTW, the two tabs in the grille hold the AC condenser.

Fantastic - I am envious.
