Another MONO Sleeve

Here are some Pics of a Mono Sleeve I got in the early 1980's as part of deal for 1966 Sprint GT club racer that I purchsed. I may have been race in that or another chassis, a 1969 GTV, in CASC Ontario region B-sedan events.

The block is a 1750 base.
The head came with it and the pistons.

The 1750 head has a sleeved manifold with Aeoquip fittinga wellded on it. The sleeves protude als insert into the resesses in the head. The valves Are GTA.

Intake manifold showing protruding sleeves which has been matched to the head. I guess they bolted the manifold to the head, bored through each port into the head. Inserted the sleeve and locked it to the manifold at least using set screws. the ported the manifold.

These MONO sleeve parts have seen the light of day twice in the last 25 years and I packed them away again last night. Remember the ending of "Raiders of the Lost Arc".

Seriously, I have no immediate plans but I might add, every thing is for sale at the right price. Interested?

Yours in Mono Sleaves

Remarkable how the spark plug hole intersects the valve seats. Better be careful not to run too tall a spark plug!

What's a standard head thickness, 4.412"? This sucker's cut way down if that's the case!
