Sounds interesting!
But why does it look like a TS?
Did you tow it like that for 1250Km? Please tell me you strapped it down somehow?

Hi
The documentation that comes with the car explains the chassis is from a 2000, but was rebuilt at some point as Turbo Evoluzione, with engine, wheels, brakes, and suspension with Turbo Evoluzione specs. The hood if from a 1.6 and I think the bumpers are wrong too. The information file is really huge, with pictures, racing sheets and notes, homologation papers.... etc.
The idea is to rebuild it to top specs, with some body work (fittings, metal work, new paint inside and ouside...) and make a replica of one of the official works racers.
Yes we tow 1200km and the car was well strapped to the platform.
Best regards.

Aha, that explains it. But you got 75 Evoluzione papers and the homologation plate on the car?
Actually the bumpers, side skirts, wheelarch flares and the hood are the wrong ones compared to Evo. But if it originally was a 2.0 Carb it makes sense.
A replica of a Works car sounds like a great plan! Got a pic of the car you plan to copy?

The car come with 4kg of papers Luis would need to read carefully. He told me is going to scan most of them.
Related to the livery, I don't know what Luis is going to do. First of all, he'll need to do some body work to fix dings and dents. The paint its a bit scruffy and the interior is dirty.
The idea launched by me and some friends is to replicate any of the Turbos raced in Spain an the CET (Production Touring Championship). There were some nice cars like this:
Luis Villamil

This car was raced as 1.8 Turbo and V6 3.0... but the livery (V6 i think..) it's nice.

The Milano that says 'Beretta' on the side looks like its so low every part of it will hit the ground on the slightest bump

More pictures from the inspection yesterday.
The "Driver's office":
An OMP roll cages, its old style, but with very few updates it will be ok for today standards
Engine, a bit scruffy:
Lockheed brakes, anyone is able to identify them?
That square plate is a ballast lead, because the car is only 970kg, a bit under Group A weight limit for this car these days....
The flamin' burner.....
This is our garage at Scalextric Club Ferrolterra, nice place to spend the afternoon: cars in 1:1 and 1:32 scale.....
More cars, this is a Seat Ibiza for dirt track slaloms...
Cars in 1:32 scale
We have a special test stage at the club, well it's 1:32, but it's funny....
Best regards
