My new GTV

Hi All,
I've been reading the BB for a while and now I have a car to post about so here goes. I Just dragged this 72 home a few weeks ago. It had sat since 92. It's a low miles two owner car that had a rough 50,000 mile first five years on the streets of San Francisco, followed by a 5 year wait for a head gasket, and a leasurely ~10,000 miles up to 92 when it went into storage. It has no real rust, just some surface related to a replaced front fender. The car runs and drives great, but needs some suspension work to take care of some clunks. I have big plans for it and will post occasionally as I get work done.

Steering wheel is on the wrong side ... not interested j/k.

Yep more photos, I want to test your 'no real rust' comment ... otherwise I'll get real jealous.

Concrats.

Congratulations on the purchase! Looks like a gem.

Let me know if you want to make that change to your screen name.

What does it take to change the screen name?

I'll post more pics this weekend.

Wheels for the new GTV

I just bought these Campagnolo's for the GTV. I've only ever seen these on a Junior Zagato. They are 14 x 6. I hope they fit!

Alas another BBer is now the proud owner of this car. Interior wasn't too bad, just blown out drivers seat. I wonder if he wants to sell it back to me??
