Introduce myself

I've been reading along for some while now , I think it's time that I introduce myself .
I'm a Belgian alfist with special intrest in the 75 and GTV 116 , that's why I own a couple cars of both types .
The juwel of the family is a ' 83 GTV 2.0 Italian import .
Soon there will be a second juwel in the form of another ' 82 GTV 2.0 ( South-France import ) and is being restored at the moment .
I'll keep u posted on that one .

As found in Italie

Welcome to the BB,
That GTV really looks great! Thanks for sharing those pics with us. Can you tell us about the car?

Thanks
Jeff

As mentioned before , it's an Italian import and stood still for the last 10 years ( in good company as the first picture shows ) and has 93000 Km on the counter .
A friend of mine , who is a lot in Italie , spotted the car and brought it to Belgium .
When I saw the car at first, my heart just melted !
It was in original , unrestored condition , only under the hood there was a bit of rust due to a leaking master brake cilinder and acid from the battery .
I took out the engine , sandblasted the enginebay and resprayd it .
The master brake cilinder off course was replaced same as for the brake calipers .
Atef 7,5x16 wheels with 205/50R16 tyres were fitted afterwards .

This car realy puts a big happy smile on my face

Great stuff ... and the engine bay looks so right (ie. original, as it should be).
