1967 or 2005 ?
On a recent trip through Italy (May), once I hit some of the back roads - it felt like it could have been 1967 again...

Beautiful shot! Just a hunch, but that looks a lot like Citta della Pieve, in Umbria. There are thousands of towns like that in Italy, and your picture really makes me want to go back.

Thanks for sharing Niko, you managed to take my mind back in time at empty roads and magestic scenery.
We should start posting black & white pictures, they are chronologically correct for our beloved Alfas.
Takis.

I couldn't possibly sell a photo to a fellow Alfista - I'd be happy to have one printed out for you - or I can send you the high resolution file - which you can have printed.

True - I didn't notice it when I was taking the picture. But thanks to Adobe - a thing of the past.

I believe (and can never be 100% sure - because my trip through Italy consisted of lots of driving in random directions because I liked the look of that road/scenery) it is just outside a small 'town' called Lucarelli in Tuscany. It is between Florence and Siena. We drove past - I was hungry - we stopped and ate.
I'll try to do a proper write-up, and post some more picture from Positano/Umbria/Tuscany/Portofino/Alfa Museum/Lake Como.
A trip like this is highly recommended. There is even a bloke who rents out Duettos in Italy - so no excuses!
Whoever wants a high-res version - please PM me. I'll email or set up a link to d/load from.

I took something like that today. It's not an Alfa, but it's still Italian. Old Fiat 850 sedan. I'd realllly like that car. The quality isn't as good as the one of the Duetto, because I took it from far away and used the zoom, and I also had to resize it before I cropped it. Let me know what you guys think though.
