A month ago when we were driving back home on the Belgian highways

I must admit it was in the neighbourhood of Spa-Francorchamps

If you go to Mid-Ohio for the SVRA vintage GP( usually held Fathers Day weekend every year) you can take parade laps on the track if you register for Sundays Concours (free to register, and they give you a gift as well; coffee mug, etc) The featured marquee this year was Porsche and Austin Healey, year before was Jaguar, I haven't heard what next years is yet. There are usually between 10 & 20 Alfas there every year. I'll try and post pictures from '04 as soon as I remember which folder I saved them in.

While driving around Palo Alto and Mountain View looking for a place to live I saw a Berlina, a Giulia Spider, and a 164. I'm gonna love the Bay Area

I was going to lunch last Friday and saw a green 164 and two minutes later a black Milano in Milpitas around 12:15pm. Unbelievable!!!

Anybody from the BB?

unfortunately no pics, but it was a great Alfa day last Saturday in Austin. At 9.15 am I saw a very nice yellow roundtail spider go east on bee caves rd. About 5 minutes on the same road later a red s2 and a green s4 right behind it.
Unfortunately it went to fast to take pics as they were heading the other direction. Anyone on the board?

I noticed the Capital Chapter of the AROC site has printable business cards in PDF format. Maybe someone could do something like that.

I'll get a pick for you...I don't think he's a BB member, but his car is in the pics from this years Concorso. I see the car every day, its very nice.

Ted

Oh yeah, forgot to add, last Wednesday or Thursday I saw a very nice GTV-6 on El Monte in Los Altos...then was surprised to see a nice burgundy Gulia Super (I think that's what that was) in downtown Los Altos...hadn't seen that one around before.

Yesterday when I was waiting to make a left turn onto Highway from Pedro Point in Pacifica, I saw a red, late 70's spider go North past the intersection and about 30 seconds later, I saw a silver S4 spider make a right turn beside me. All within the same intersection!! I was in heaven!

This morning, I saw another silver spider in Pleasanton.

I think California wins the alfa spottings

My wife claims she saw a silver GTV6 at Gavilan College today. She confirmed it was an Alfa by the emblem, and said it had the same shape as mine anyhow. Does anyone here attend Gavilan?

Late report, Saturday, two days ago, late afternoon/early evening, another Red GTV, this one at Main and MacArthur in Santa Ana, I was heading into the Mobil in the '73 gold-faded berlina, The GTV driver was stopped at the light, safely talking on his cellphone, he didn't notice me until I honked. PS- We've had some rain tonight, early in the season for the coastal area.

This is a great idea! These "Official AlfaBB Cards" would look a helluva lot better than the notes I scrawl on scrap paper. Someone should really follow up on this!

Sorry for being a bit off topic / Rogerspeed, are you going to bring one of your alfas to the Open House on Oct 1st?

I'm a manager for a large printing company, I can get a VERY reasonable deal with my personal discount if we wanted to make some AlfaBB cards.

Nice professional looking 3 color (red, green & black maybe) cards with raised ink printed on one or both sides would end up costing like $0.03 per card, so forum members could get 50 cards for under $2.00 to give away, plus a small cost for mailing.

I see a 69 spider every morning on my way to work...............

Then again it is in my driveway, it yells at me every time I pass it....."FIX ME"
"PAINT ME" "GIVE ME SOME ATTENTION" "TAKE ME OUT"

Who needs a wife when you have an alfa. She just may end up with a "For Sale" sign on her soon. (the alfa not the wife)

Actually I do see alot of Alfas around here, Valley Forge Park is a nice place to spot them on Sunday afternoons. I also spot alot around Villanova. I'll upgrade to a camera phone soon.
