I thought your car was nice! no beater there pal!
Lets get together some night for a beer and wings-- and tell alfa tales--- If the black LS hood in the corner fits your car we can work a deal for the hood in exchange for some wings-n-beers and ???

Sounds good Bob, I too used to go to Cali's on the other side of the street and no they don't have the Wheel o Fortune bucket anymore but the Suicide sauce is pretty intense. We'll have to do suds and wings soon, I'm tired of looking at the dent in in hood (Evil Hummer H2's)

Alfas in Berkeley
My lucky day. While driving my GTV through the Berkeley hills this morning, spotted four Alfas. Two spiders on Grizzly Peak, the green 105 panel truck (thanks for the wave) on Euclid and a red Milano on going up Moeser towards Kensington. Sorry, no pictures.

Crossed paths with a Red Spider Saturday after my run up Snake Hill Road. Alfa's getting to be commonplace all of a sudden . Saw another one last year also while in the GTV. Maybe time to start looking for something a little more rare and exotic - like a Renault Dauphine.

Saw two spiders at the same intersection here in Louisville. One was an early 70's silver and one was an early 90's green Veloce. They were clueless and didn't even see each other. Of course I was in the Suzuki.

Ain't that a shame, the S4 probably didn't even know the other car was an Alfa, now the S2 should have been on the ball.

Well just for the sake of the thread I'll report my sighting from Friday the 23rd. I was in the white 164L driving north on I15 to Temecula and I spied a green LS on my right. I thought this has to be bb member "Goats" since we have crossed paths recently. I notice he is most likely pulling off soon so I pull up next to the LS and coast, honk, wave and nothing. Driver concentrating on driving as he should be. Oh well, I pull off, LS gets off ramp and is gone. No biggie, but I'm wondering if this is indeed who I think it is, yes low and behold it is "Goats" and he was heading to a hockey game or some event, he saw me after I pulled ahead and was wondering who I was too. We PM'd and got our stories straight. One of these days we will meet for suds and wings and swap Alfa stories for sure.

My friend spotted this red 86-90 S3 Spider Veloce outside of his office in Dallas' Deep Ellum area.

Today - while parking the Alfetta right outside the SF Zoo - a white Sprint Speciale with the numbers 112 or 117 on the doors blasted by me and turned left onto the great highway - sounded fantastic. I think I've seen the car before - but I can't remember where...
Couple days ago a red GT Junior (looked like a smooth nose, rather than step nose varient - but it was in my rearview mirror, so maybe not) parked on 17th Street at Valencia in the Mission of SF.
Oh and in between: a few dozen spiders, a White 164Q with Washington plates which didn't seem to notice the red Alfetta Sedan right next to it (I don't have a horn - so couldn't honk ), and at least 2 '73-'74 GTV's They're everywhere around here!!!

I now I'm way late to reply, but I never noticed this thread before. That silver Spider belonged to John Ortakales, I'm sure, as he works at the arsenal. The car has since been sold, but he's the guy making those bulletproof clutch pedal pivot pins for the 105/115 cars:
