Now for something completely different. Spotted in Riga in January 2004. You don't see many cars without any weather equipment at all here. It was about 20 below at the time. I think it may be a Westfield chassis underneath all that white stuff.

Saw a series three spider parked near Davenport on highway 1 on Saturday afternoon. Also, between Davenport and Santa Cruz, saw an orange series 2 (1971 - 74) spider coming in the opposite direction as i was going in my 71 spider. It was about 2pm on highway 1.

Saw a Spider parked nose in at a Tattoo parlor as we fueled the Jeep CRD in beautiful downtown Prineville, Oregon. This was Monday, Sept. 17. Was he or she getting the full logo or just the clover leaf?
Same day, while eating lunch in Bend, Oregon, a man noticed the Alfa logo on my hat and asked if I had one. That led to a conversation about Alfas. He won with the best lost bargain story. In the early 1970's an older friend near his home in Carpenteria, California, was not well and offered this guy his 1930's Alfa with extensive racing history. The price was $2500. That's right, $2500. The guy turned it down because it seemed too expensive. From his description it sounds like an 8C2600.
Geesh! In that same time frame I turned down a one-owner, absolutely perfect Sprint Speciale because I couldn't afford the $3,000 price.

On my way home today coming down RT176 from Reading to Morgantown, PA. I saw a red 164, I'm pretty sure it was an S. It was cool because I was in mine as well.
We both tried to take pictures of each others cars with our phones. We waved and then they got onto the PA Turnpike.
