I live in Dallas/Ft. Worth; other than my own, I have never seen an Alfa on the road in 10 years here! (Although I do know they exist, because they show up at local car meets.)
Since I do drive mine every day I do see (only) men ocassionally staring at it, trying to figure out what it is (a 164) from the side every now and then.

does this count as an official spotting?

I was in southern Ohio over the weekend and spotted this rare find

When did Fiat begin producing Alfa motorhomes and is this the Quadrifoglio model with the extra body cladding???

That reminds me of the following story

Quote:
Dunkin' Donuts Coffee Contest

A blonde goes into a coffee shop and notices there's a "peel and win"
Sticker on her coffee cup.

So she peels it off and starts screaming, "I've won a motorhome! I've won
A motorhome!"

The waitress says, "That's impossible. The biggest prize is a free
Lunch."

But the blonde keeps on screaming, "I've won a motorhome! I've won a
Motorhome!"

Finally, the manager comes over and says, "Ma'am, I'm sorry, but you're
Mistaken.
You couldn't have possibly won a motorhome because we didn't have that as
A prize.

The blonde says, "No, it's not a mistake. I've won a motorhome!"

And she hands the ticket to the manager and HE reads...

(Scroll down!!) (YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS !!!!!! . I PROMISE !)

On my way to Sacramento on Interstate 80 on Saturday afternoon, I spotted a very clean silver GTV6 with nice wheels. I was in a white ford taurus and honked at you. You probably thought I was crazy

I saw that. Very nice ad.

Saw this when I was out this morning. I see this car around a fair amount. Do any of the locals know the owner?

Fair Weather Brings Spiders....

Marin County California, Tuesday- white ducktail driving into Home Despot as I was leaving, heading to Orchard Supply Hardware to get what they didn't have at Home Depot, arriving there in time to talk briefly with the owner of a well-kept ivory boattail before she drove away. One owner since new (the car!), but she's not on the bb (no computer). Today- silver/gray ducktail westbound on Lucas Valley Road as I was EB in my GTV6. Gave the "thumbs up" but don't think he saw it. Oh well...

The Rain Didn't Chase All The Spiders Away...

Corte Madera, Marin County, California- dark gray ducktail southbound on Hwy 101. BTW, if you're on the bb, you passenger side tail light is out.

I wish I could say I've seen an Alfa down here(SoFla), but alas I haven't seen one in the 3+ years I've been here!!! I do get a lot of comments on mine, so the 'locals' apparently know what Alfas are...

I spotted a GTV6 two days ago on Blanshard near the Future Shop, my response wasnt really appropriate for the forum... but i was totally surprised!
First GTV6 i've spotted over here. I completely doubt he saw me though, I was covered by a semi in my milano and only say the last 1/3rd of the car.
Nice looking though, gunmetal color.

2 Spiders!!!

I saw two Spiders in Raleigh NC today! Only two I have ever seen on the road for a couple years. The first was parked in Cameron Village, saw it when I was coming out of Piccola Italia. Yellow S4 and beautiful! Second was a red '87 Quad, talked to the owner briefly, was an 87. Seemed like his wife wanted to get rid of it. Looked like it had sat a while, parts were rusted, others looked great. Owner seemed a little worried when I walked up, had been vandalized a while back. I got a few pictures from both and will post them later. Anyone from here?

Andy

Went into SF today and spotted a white GTV, a black S3 Spider, and a blue 164L. On our way home, I spotted a red S3 Spider turning onto Fassler from Highway 1 in Pacifica.

On Friday, I spotted a blue 164L in the washington mutual parking lot near Tanforan Mall in San Bruno.
