I was stopped at a light thinking about how many Japanese cars were around me (I was driving a Japanese car myself, actually) and how rare Alfas are around here when a white S4 Spider sped by.

This is my first official post, after looking at this site for years. My loves are:
1969 GTV 1750
1970 1750 gtv resto
1967 junior racecar resto
While in Florida, we drove through Daytona Beach and I came across a bastardized "killer ride". I think it looks like a cobra, but more of an inbreed model.

Saw a red Series 3 Spider stopped along the Pennsylvania Turnpike today. It was on the westbound side near the I79 interchange and was stopped in an emergency stopping area. As we passed, I could see the driver inside talking on his cell phone. Was it one of you BB members? Hopefully, it was the driver who just needed a rest and not the trusty Alfa.

A white GTV race car with red stripes and #16 on the door passed us Saturday, as we were on I-5 headed from Sequim, Washington, to Half Moon Bay, California. It's the first Alfa we've seen during several recent trips up and down this 950-mile stretch of I-5 ... and it was on a car hauler.

Good day for Alfa spotting.. I met a guy who works at the local Subaru dealer who has a '78 Lancia Beta, an '88 automatic Milano, a '9x 164 and a Fiat 128. I only saw the Lancia, not the other ones. If/when I see them, I'll post pictures.
I also "found" a wrecked '88 Milano Gold (also automatic), a very rough Duetto, a very rough S2 Spider and a parked Alfetta GT. The Alfetta is some special edition.. Velossimo or something. They all belong to the same guy (who has 9 other Alfas and owns a local shop..). I'm not sure if he'd want me posting pics of them though. The Alfetta is black, not too badly rusted. The Milano was hit pretty hard on the front left side and will probably be parted out.

Alfa Spotting at Goodtimes at Hampden and Yosemite in Denver
Yesterday, was an Alfa day in Denver. I hadn't had the Alfetta out in a couple of weeks, so I jumped at the opportunity. My friend Susie, and I stopped for a Goodtimes burger. While eating, I looked over and snapped a shot of my car. A few bites later, I looked back for another admiring glance and noticed someone drooling over my car. He took several laps aroung the car. I could see he was pretty excited to see my old car. He made eye contact with my friend and with a couple of hand jestures determined I was the owner.
He came over and introduced himself and we chatted about our Alfas. Jim was driving through the intersection of Hampden and Yosemite when he spotted my car. He said he had to stop and check it out. After we finished our burgers, we walked to the car. Jim whipped out his cell phone and snapped some photos of my car. It was really fun to meet a fellow enthusiast. Thanks for making my day, Jim.

Wow! That's amazing I hardly see any Alfa's in Sacramento. That is not counting my place , Barber's shop, and Jon's 164!
See you on Wednesday!

Gray 164 heading west on 168 in Fresno this morning. He took the McKinley exit at about 7:30. Wouldn't you know it - I was not in my Spider today and I didn't have my camera!
This is the only other Alfa I have seen in town since I bought mine last September; there has to be more!

I saw a '74 GTV at a local shop-
Also worth noting- they had a '67 Ferrari 330GTC and a Goggomobile.

2 x Alfa Spottings
Sorry guys, no pictures, BUT:
There was a cream/tan 82ish Alfa Spider in/around embarcadero area of San Francisco on Thursday at around 4pm. Top was down. Young man in his late 20's I'd say. I was suprised to see that was the only one in SFO that I saw that day. I usually see tons!
Second spotting in Davis, Ca around the UC Davis campus. A beautiful Red Milano Verde with a middle-aged man driving it. I tried to get his attention, but he was preoccupied. One of the nicest examples I've seen in a long time!
