Giulia Super Colli

Hi all,
am still quite new to the Alfa world but am learning fast. Met a really nice fella in Northern NSW last weekend while talking parts for my car he was telling me about another guy in the hills near him with a couple of lovely cars. Thought I'd share some images of them with you. Dont know anything about their history just know that this wagon must be rare! RHD as well!

Wow, sweet Alfa. I wonder what that would sell for on Bobcor.

Lovely wagon. Truly lovely.

It would sell at BobCor for One meeeeellion dollars because, "IT'S A BOBCOR AND WE LOVE ALFAS AND IT'S THE ONLY ONE EVER MADE AND WAS SPIT SHINED BY FANGIO HIMSELF IF YOU WANT IT RESTORED IT WILL COST YOU ANOTHER 5 BILLION DOLLARS BUT I WON'T SELL IT ANYWAY! CALL US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED!"

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

The guy I met in Byron Bay knows the fella that owns this beauty. So I havent actually seen it myself and dont know its exact location. This guy seems to have quite the collection. Can anyone tell me what the car is to the right of the wagon? and sorry dont have any more photos.

Nice knowing there are some stunning alfas around in Oz!

My guess would be FIAT Dino Coupe ... but could be wrong. It might not be curvy enough.

I know of only one other Colli in Australia, it also happens to be painted yellow.... but come to think of it, this must be the same one being restored to original condition?

As you can all see in this picture, this Colli appears to be somewhat modified - polished up 2.0L, momo wheels and that awful painted yellow mirror.

It would be interesting to find out some more history on this car, im sure there is an authenticity reason behind the orange light on the roof?

Im dieing to know !!

i don't know specifically how many there are/were, but i remember back when bobcor first put their collie for sale after resto for like $100,000 and everyone was kind of stunned, the justification for the high price was that it was the only one in the world and restored to perfect concourse condition. So if we take thier word for it that would make only 2 around....... i don't know though if you search for that thread about bobcor's collie it might say prod numbers there, the dr also probably knows

got it drecertini(sp?) said in the last collie thread that there were 16 original collie's including panel vans and wagons.

and there were some other's built in the 70s that weren't bodied by collie

I hate to remove some of the rarity of these wagons but I know of another in Sydney. I certainly isn't yellow. It's a dark blue colour. Unless of corse the owner was tempted to sell it and it is now the yellow one above?

GoldCloverLeaf: Do you know when the photo with the car wearing the Vega's was taken?
