Mikes '74 GTV 2000 ~GoldCloverLeaf~
As requested by a couple of members, here are some pics of my Australian '74 GTV 2000. I had these pics on 35mm film for a while now but only got them developed today. Too bad it wasnt sunny when I took the pics!
The wheels are 16" Performance Superlite's. The car sits on lower/stiffer springs and Bilstein shocks, otherwise the car is pretty much standard except for high comp pistons.
I have just taken the car off the road to address some bodywork before it has a chance to get any worse. I will also pick away at cosmetic items as time/ money allows (such as the rear bumper and interior trim etc.).
Enjoy!

What tires are on there? That car is magnificent. The ride height is perfect. What a great car. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments guys!
I wish the car was actually as good as it looks in the shots. I'm really just handy with the orbital buffer
I will actually be replacing the right hand sill (rocker) panel and rear wheel arch due to some rust (yes, it appears my car was on the right hand side of the ship when it was shipped over from Italy). Also a hole is forming under the pedals. Otherwise its its in pretty good shape. On the list is also a better dash, some interior trim, a rear bumper thats not bent, a set of black racing seats and maybe a roll cage at some stage.........

Nothing too special, they are Nankang Ts1 super sports or whatever they are called. 205/45/16
Not expensive, they grip great in the dry, the wet you have to behave though - unless you have a lot of run off room for tail out action!

Oh trust me, there are several! I will admit the car looks immaculate even up to 5 feet away, but when you get close you start to see the blemishes.
This is why you should never judge a cars condition just by looking at pics on the internet (and hence why Ebay can be a problem)! I will take some pics of the problem areas when I have some time. These will all follow with restoration progress on a new thread over the next few months anyways.

Mike,
I can't stop looking at the pictures of your car!!!
I hear you about the problems with e-bay!!!! I was a victim.
Oh well... just grin & bare it and get on witht the work at hand I guess.?.?. E-bay needs some sort of magnet test implimented into it (LOL!!!)
Good luck on working on those blemishes!

A very sweet car. My favourite Bertone with the large tail lights and the final iteration of the front end.
Very, very, very nice. Show us the interior and the heart (motor).
