Exactly - take away the tents and you'll see tire marks!

Yep. That's Adan's (Fanalone) Fulvia Montecarlo on the right, and my Fanalone on the left. We had just driven up from LA, and were having lunch at the Rio Grill with some other lancisti, including a good friend of Alex Csank's.

Beautiful photos, Pat, thank you for sharing them with those of us unable to be there!
Here are two others, taken from a different site, which particularly caught my eye. I'll bet the German car (well, I'm assuming it's German ... Steyr? Merc? Horch? ) has a few stories to tell. The second photo of the Stratos I took at the Goodwood Concours d'Elegance this year. Stunning.
Alex.

Patrick, yes, terrific photos. And what publication is it you work for again? Just kidding, but you seemed to have been in the right spots at the right time - along with having a terrific eye.
I do have to agree with Pete from OZ regarding Concorso being held at an airfield. Yes, the vintage planes in the background are cool, but cool cars on hot concrete sucks. They should be on grass or at least a park where they're on concrete/asphalt, but surrounded by grass and trees. I'm totally knocked out by the new Bugattis but they looked just like any shiny cars sitting in the hot sun on hot concrete.
I know the owner of the 30's (20's?) burgundy Lancia with the spotlight on the roof and combination steel & fabric body. It was a one-off and (pretty sure) bodied in OZ for an OZ customer. It has an altimeter and came with a fold up Rolex.
