That Mondrian Giulia is just great! And thanks for sharing the 75 photos too; we are enjoying driving my wife's new '89 Milano Gold, but the paint on her car is pretty well toast. So it's great inspiration to see what these cars look like with good paint.

Here in the Netherlands, an owner of a red '95 GTV 2.0V6 TB (Turbo Benzina) since a year, and loving every minute! It all started/went wrong with my grandfather buying a green Alfasud, he sold that to his son (my dad) and that was the first Alfa in my memory. After that my dad owned a Guilietta (116), 75 3.0V6 and now a 156 2.0TS.
Hence that heritage and the Alfa-bug became genetic, I couldn't stay behind.....

just lowered. AME 18"x8"s
just lowered it this weekend gone,
it runs on 18x8" AME's, with 215/35/18 nankang's.
awsome tyre with heaps of grip [best grip iv had on this 75] compared to other tyres, like brigestone g-grids, perilli [spelling] sp's and Wanli's [awsome drift tyres, but scary in the wet!!].

Here's a shot from this morning as I was testing out the tripod setup. It needs some adjustments and I should have took off the sun visors but it was an informative test.

jzig.K...
Really nice looking Milano 3.0 or 75!!! But... your catilitic converter must be dragging on the ground.?.? I had a 3.0 just like yours for a bit and the exhaust on these things hang so low relative to the actual bottom of the car that... when i lowered it just a little... the stupid cat. would drag and or catch on EVERYTHING! DO you guys get to use a different exhaust configuration that we do in the states? But, like you, i wanted to lower it because the stock ride hight on these are like that of Monster trucks!
Yours looks nice though! Makes me miss mine.
Cheers

thanks sprintn,
the car is a 1988 australian delivered 3.0lt [Verde, as you know them]. its in great condition, with 3086**kms under its belt. Brilliant thing to drive!
iv just had a full custom exhaust made [after being pinned by the EPA for being too loud at 102dB and a 90dB max] and just asked for max clearance.
the local fella did a beautiful job, using a stock cat and headers, then a resonator, all tucked up into the very little room it has. after the EPA test [only for volume, we dont worry about emisions where i am] it wispers at 87-88dB... but still has that alfa note! and more noticable power than the old system.
there is only the part that goes under the rear crossmember that hangs down, and bumps the driveway and speedhumps, etc, but its liveable for a 19yr old with about 3" road clearance [100mm or 4" is legal ]

Nice car, Magnus!
Colour, stance and wheel choice/fitment are spot on!
Also, black really compliments the 75, kind of 'smooths out' the awkward lines.

Thanks! Black is the best looking colour on 75!
The SZ wheels is the most perfect wheels to fit a 75

Awkward lines? I'll admit the 75 is a car that some people need time to adjust to but I would happily take the shape of the 75 over most newish alfa's. Obviously I have a thing for square cars, but the 75 is pure 80's and pure alfa.

Sorry, didn't intend for that to sound so pretentious.
I agree, the 75 is a beautiful looking car; I think it epitomizes outlandish 80's excess like a bodykitted Countach does. And that's a very cool thing to do.

That's one reason I bought my 75, unique looks some might called odd I called individual and different. Must be the reason I also liked the Bi Turbo Maserati's of the era, especially the Spyders.

All torque, you didn't need to apoligise, it's all opinions after all. A lot of people don't like square cars and some do, I also love the look of the Bi Turbo's, Tango.
I have friends who cringe at anything that isn't styled like the modern pieces of plastic curves that most car designers are stuck using today. These friends of mine are the type who claim to be car enthusiasts but how can you be a car enthusiast with out appreciating the origins/older variants of the automobile? Short answer : YOU CAN'T.
With all the strangely proportioned cars on the market today, I really appreciate old styling.
