Nice cars guys! It is good to see that some people in Italy are keeping the old cars going. When I lived there in 2002 & 2005 old cars were rare apart from some Fiat 500s, Alfa 33s and 164s. I thought it was sad that there must be thousands of lovely 75s in wrecking yards because they were a rare sight on the road. Three litre V6s must be even rarer. People I met over there thought a car was getting old at five years! Everyone wanted new diesels. It would be a lot cheaper for you guys to run your old 75s over time, even the 3 litre, because you wouldn't have paid much for it in the first place. That is one reason why I run old cars. Besides, we are doing more for the environment by recycling them than people who buy new hybrids or diesels which produce tons of greenhouse gases in the manufacturing process.

Thanks for sharing those wonderful Italian cars IN Italy!! It's good to see the Alfetta sedans are still alive there.

It is nice to see another 75 being preserved in Italy. I thought there were hardly any left when I was living there in 2005. Is it more expensive to register or tax than newer cars?

Pictures Alfa Romeo

Hello Alfisti, here are some pictures of my 1972 Bertone GTV 2.000.
It has lowered suspension, with Eibach springs and Koni shocks.
The standard wheels are widen up to 6,5 " with 195/65 x 14 tyres.
I bought this car in Italia in 1995 since then it is in a heated garage.
I restored the engine and put Montreal rubber bushings in the rearaxle.
Furthermore it has a shorter axle from the 2.000 Berlina, this gives better accelaration. There was never rust every panel fits like new. This car tastet never from the salt on the dutch roads during winter, althought these winters are long ago.

This was the first car I ever bought:

Haven't had an Alfa in twenty years and missed the hell out of it so just picked this one up and starting a full resto. Drove it home after the transporter deliverd it and damn it brought back memories. Also had two GTV's after the Guiletta, and yes it was a true Veloce, had the 77m pistons, front discs from a Guila 1600 along with the 5 speed and rear end, put the front drums on the back. It was a hellva car.

Good thing to be a pack rat, I saved and amazingly enough found my spare parts catalog for the GTV's I had back in the 70's, also found my Giulietta parts catalog! Amazing!
