Straight8/2:

Gorgeous GTV! I just put a set of the same Panasports on my Spider, they look 'almost' as good on mine as they do on yours! Again, GREAT looking Alfa!

Regards

Just bought it 5 days ago

1981 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce 2000 USA

Lots of odd things need adjusting or repaired. But it has never been hit and rust is at a minimum. My wife is very happy, but wants to drive it... now!

Well, first we need to remove the pair of vice grips holding the exhaust manifold and pipe together, remove and replace the broken bolt in the exhaust manifold, replace the starter because it started to smoke when the battery was attached, all the tires because they are nearly all flat and cracked, and... well, you get the picture.

Even with all this, I am in love... well lust anyway. By the way, I got it for $1,000,

yes I see the color now, regardless, looks great, panasports look good on it as well. I noticed that the wood on console is a little funky at ashtray, mine is the same way, probably why the changed design with the 2000's, it does not bother me as much as it use to. nice car

Just finishing the assembly...

and finally back on the road! Very original, except for a little better cams and porting.
