Do you drive all year round out there?

I lived in Montreal for six years so I know what your winters are like - long and very cold (I still miss living there though - way more fun and much friendlier people in my opinion). Here it is perpetual spring during the winter. It drizzles incessantly - sometimes for weeks without a break. We may get the odd snowfall which rarely settles for more than a few days. I'll keep her indoors during heavy downpours or after they've salted the roads, other than that I'll be driving her regularly and keeping her very clean and dry while parked.
I can't stand the idea of owning a garage queen. In fact I've already put three thousand miles on her since the middle of March and plan to do a lot more driving once I have a few things sorted: I noticed the fuel pump is wet today so I have to change the fuel line asap which feels very thin and brittle (wrong type of hose) - not sure if the pump is leaking too, trailing arms need new bushings along with a few other minor odds and ends.

When I lived in england I used to drive my alfas all year...that was late 70's , early eighties. They would rust pretty quickly....I had an alfetta that seemed to go from 0 to rust bucket in two weeks... It never even crossed my mind to get an alfa in canada until a cvouple of years ago..I'm quite surprised to find such a following in N. America.

Nice pair of cars can you also post a pic of the two Scooters if you still have them. I am looking for a Vespa if you know any for sale, please.
All the best
Rob

Here you go Rob. The '57 is for sale. It is all Italian and nothing from Asia. Very rare and restored in Germany about 6 years ago. It has also very rare side step and horn cover. The scoot is titled here in NY. The Lambretta is a '62 LI150 III.

Lambretta vs. Vespa
Great looking 'scoots'! I know that Vespas have become very collectable & copied by scammers in Asia. But aren't Lambrettas actually a much better scooter?
