Couple, three photos & SZed RZed
MLC: I did figure out the JPeg tag was the basis of the deduction. Though at first, not to sound too much like Mel Brooks, I thought to be able to see the paper someone's got a really big monitor!
Re: the SZ, RZ colors discussion, when I went over to Zagato's to meet with Gianni Zagato, the factory was filled with body panels for a series of RZeds. In its multi-colored intensity it looked like a surf shop. Just a side bar to this visit, I was coming from a meeting with the Alfa board and after lunch they had one of the factory drivers get us over to Zagato's in a turbo 164. It was a pleasantly intense drive, of short duration, belying the actual distance between the two.

Theere are couple of cars in Japan with silver exterior and red interior. It may have been special order, but silver/red is indeed the original color combo (very few were made, though).

A rare dry spring day
Today was a beautiful day here in BC so I just had to take my girls for a drive into the mountains. The photo shows the Stawamus Chief in the background near Squamish on the Vancouver Whistler road - one of the world's largest monoliths.
It was my first 'spirited' drive since I got my Spider a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic. She corners beautifully and drives like a dream. Let's just say she got a classic "Alfa tune up" today

I always know that SZ's were painted only in red and with tan interior. And all the SZ I've seen were so.
But yes, it could be possible that, if the customer wanted hard a different colour, the car could be painted in another one!
I saw RZeds in yellow, black, red, but never in other colours; with red, black or tan interiors. Not sure on a car with ice-gray interiors.

Sea To Sky Highway, one of the most beautiful drives ever. My 92 T'Bird SC was a hoot on the road. Tried to get it through the twisties at double the posted speeds. Almost made it, but not quite!

There's lots of construction and traffic on the Vancouver to Squamish portion, but I still managed to use the passing lane to get by all the "Sunday drivers" for a bit of my own road to play on until I caught up to the next batch. There were a couple of humbled Acura drivers that I overtook - they trying to keep up on the corners without any success
I'm hugely impressed with the Spider's cornering abilities. I've got two hot hatches that are rarely surpassed through the mountain twisties, but she's very stable and hugs the road. I definitely want to add a chassis stiffener and get rid of the Pirelli P400s and I think she'll be on cornering on rails through those mountain roads. The Ansa exhaust sounds fantastic reverberating off the high cliffs. I had a few people let me by no doubt from the noise alone.

My Spider fixed, repainted and with a hardtop after a police woman, talking on her cellphone, drove into me with a Crown Vic.
Sorry about the quality...
