Very nice trio Arco. Is the colour of the GTV 2000 Pino Verde? It seems an unusual interior colour combination with the green-looks like leater seating too. Was that the original combination? That 1750 I presume is the 1750 Zagato produced in the late `60`s by the factory? I remember reading a road test in Australian Sports Car World when they were new-it`s not the same car is it? (there can`t have been too many in Aus) GTC looks good -what`s its history. How about more photos now you`ve hooked us.

Regards
Richard J

Arco, great pictures, but too many cars. You need to send one up here to Georgia...they are sweet!

Yes it is Verde Pino. I have had it since nearly new, it was the 1974 Sydney Motorshow car and therefore dollied up by Alfa. Borrani wires, tinted windows, factory aircon, electric windows and red leather interior. It's now done over 300000km and only one quick restore in 98, no rust anywhere. The GTC was on of my 10 year restoration projects, I pulled it to bits, undrilled every spot weld and reassembled it to better then new. The 4R is based on a 101, 1600cc, it is believed to be the only RHD ever built and definitly the only one in Australia, was imported by Alex Mildren in Sydney, I got the full history, it has never been restored and still has under 50000km's

After so many nice pictures, this is certainly nothing in particular. However, I am posting this picture so you can have an idea of the look of my beloved source of headaches.

Besides, I noticed there are not too many pictures from Spider Quadrifoglio's. I know, the body kit is somewhat 80's tacky... but then again, born in 1965, 80's tacky sort of describes myself (to some extent)... I no longer wear my mustache, though.

Yes I still have the GTV. I plan to get onto fixing the driveshaft in the next few days, weather permitting. I replaced all the trans mounts and the rear donut but discovered that the centre support bush had worn out and the driveshaft dropped into the bottom and wouldn't turn by hand (fortunately I didn't start the engine). I also found that the other two donuts needed replacing as well. I have new donuts, support bush and bearing ready to go, I just need to grit my teeth and get into it. I have been fixing a few odds and ends on the other cars lately. I hope to take both the 75 and the GTV to Alfesta. My wife and two children are all active members too so my wife will drive one of the cars. I'll see you there if not before.

Alfesta

I'll be there for sure. It is being held at Semaphore this year, by the way, possibly March 11th at this stage. If you know any non members with Alfas, encourage them to come. We want to make it a big one this year. Maybe I'll have the GTV ready for that too!
