Formerly the Crystal Cove get together, now at the Ford Design center at the 5 fwy and Alton in Irvine. I usually bring an Alfa every Sat. morning from 7 am to 9am.
They have a seperate area set aside for one marke each week. Will get the word out when it's our turn!

Haig, WOW,I love your GTV. The paint looks incredible. What a great silver but really well done. I'm assuming that is a top notch repaint.

Hello GraniteAlfa, welcome to the AlfaBB and the Alfa virus Don't worry about what you got yourself into, it's like a beautiful talented mistress, the thrill you get when these babies are running correctly is difficult to beat. (at least that's what I heard about mistresses ) I like how you have secreted her away for the winter

Beautiful car! Is that an aircraft museum behind it? Do the planes fly or are they display only?

Looks like a T6 Texan and a replica of Amelia Earhart's plane... my guess is Washington DC.
I'm sure the red one in the foreground can really fly

Yes, that's the official Italian Air Force museum. It is located at Vigna di Valle on the Bracciano Lake, near Rome. During 2006, it has also been the place for a meeting... it was great (check pictures below)!
Preserved aircrafts are usually in very good conditions but only few of them can still fly in their actual status. Probably after a specific technical restoration they could take off again...

You're right, that's a T6 "Texan" but it's not a replica! The orange camouflage is the original color that Italian Air Force uses for a lot of its trainers.

I wondered if it might be that museum. We were intending to visit it when we were living in Italy last year but didn't get around to it. After seeing your photos I wish we had!

There's an Italian marked P-51D on the left of the last picture. Did the US government sell them to Italy following WWII?? Pretty neat...
