A Montreal may be in the making? Just love them! Most underated Alfa. Pictures do them little justice. I have actually looked into purchasing an 8c, I was told that connections not availability of funds was first hurdle.
Thanks for the compliments "beatle bayly".

"beatle bayly",
I just realized that your '66 Giulia is the car that I have been lusting after. The interior is the most beautiful that I have ever seen! That's the truth. I hope you don't mind if I contact you for info. regarding the interior and other bits.

Some times ago in Bolzano was a really nice '71 Monty. In black, with black leather/red upholstery. It had the "ASI TARGA ORO" (the golden plate of Italian Historic Car Club).
Price around 15.000,- €.
That can be a good export project

A friend of mine just purchased the #2 (Montreal) car as seen on E-Bay last week. I believe the car is orange, it was Alfa Green from the factory.

Regarding the photos of the engine above... what is everyone using to get their engines so clean when rebuilding them? I have a solvent tank and parts washer, but that fluid doesn't get the aluminum on the tranny and engine as clean as the engines i've seen on this site.
Thanks

That little blue sticker..........
came from a little 'hardware' store in Lommel, Belgium. Reminds me of the great time there and the wonderful friends we met!
Also, both Alfas proudly wear a sticker from the SCARB Club of Holland. Hard to find a more friendly and helpful group!!!

I don't know about chi si dici, but it looks like silver paint... Here's a shot of my engine which shows a couple of finishes

The valve cover is painted silver, the bolt heads painted gold, the head itself is bare aluminum, and the early 2-piece manifold is Jet Hot sterling coated. As you can see, I have a lot of detail work still to do in the engine bay

A good friend of mine has a completely restored Monty in Green met. Black interior, the engine was restored too. In fact, the car is in "brand-new" conditions.
It is a pre-production series, those without the front spoiler. I guess the black one of which I was talking in my previous post was a pre-production one too.

My photo or Chi Si Dici's? I only posted the one phot which shows multiple finishes ... pm me if you still don't see it. I'll gladly email you a photo if that would help.
