My Ride with a new (to me) engine

Thought I would post a pic of my car. I put back on the road several months back after finding a 70K motor to replace the old toasted engine. The car is starting to look a little ragged but I am proud to pop the hood and show my engine, spent a lot of time cleaning it up and preping it before it went in!

Where did you find a car with such good upholstery? Mine has fallen apart and I bought a set of black cloth interior on eBay today. But your interior looks very good. The rest of the car is pretty damn sweet as well. If it were my car, I would lower the front end by one spline on the torsion bars. It will handle a whole lot better.

No doubt in my mind, the GTV6 is the best Alfa by far.

It looks really nice, i hope you have a bomb shelter ready for it

But it looks like you are in an affluent area, far from the Lebanon border?

Smile 1972 Montreal

Here's a snapshot I took yesterday while stopping at an old quarry. The Montreal is drivable, but is in need of a lot of maintenance due to being a garage queen for the last 25-30 years. It was completely "de-badged" by one of the previous owners for some reason. Plates are of the temporary sticker kind the authorities lets you buy for one-off shakedown cruises like this.
