Yes, the '57 Ring Giulietta! I finished to restore it only some days ago, it was full of history under its paint...

Paolo, compliments are not enough. While the SZ is absolutely beautiful I think
the Lightweight is superb. It looks correct in the smallest details.Perhaps you can tell us a bit more about the history. Bonnier must have raced several different Giuliettas. I found a picture of (another ?) ex Bonnier car which has an interesting air intake , probably not the same car. By the way, do you know of anybody in Italy who can make new aluminium bumpers ?Great stuff.

Thanks for your kind words, i promise i will write a thread on my car's history in the Giulietta section. I saw there is already a thread with a photo of my car, that i took before restoring.
The car in the photo seems to be the 1956 Bonnier car, the air intake is very similar to the one of SZs, that didn't use air filter during competitions (there is a little room for thrumpets). I have some doubt on the originality of the hole, but when you are dealing with racing cars it's not so easy to know who and when has modified a car.
Regarding the bumpers, i know some people that can do the work for you, so is better we get in contact by PM.

It rained all morning today, but i managed to find some time for a small trip west to the small village of Gialova, by the sea, here is a picture of my 1750 GT Veloce 1a serie (1968), in the background is the gulf of Navarino and the small island of Sfaktiria.
Takis.

During a tour to the 'Maeslantkering' in the west of Holland
Hello members,
I posted this picture elsewhere on the board but couldn't resist posting it here as well. This is at the movable high water protection barrier called 'Maeslantkering' near Rotterdam in Holland.
There could have been seven JZ's but two of the participants had to withdraw at the last moment. Sorry for the quality of the picture, it was taken with my cellphone, I forgot to bring my camera!
Ciao, Olaf

Olaf, nice combo of Dutch engineering and Italian style !!
Here's a few pics of a fellow SCARB member Roland (GiuliaBianca here) and his friend on their trip up the California coast towards the Monterey Historics this last summer. 900 miles of pure Alfa fun !!
