Ciao, NorCal Spider !
Yes. '82 is a great year. The only year that has the Bosch Injection and still the series 2 body. Definitely a combination to get passionate about. Che bella !
Can you post a pic of your beauty? Would love to see her.
A dopo,
Chris

New Alfista
My 17 yo son just picked up his first car, and it's an Alfa....he is totally psyched, and so am I!!! A couple from the local Alfa scene offered him a very, very generous deal on this beauty, I can't thank them enough
Here's a few pics

Now where have I seen THAT car before?
OH! I remember, it was in a nearby hotel parking lot, and later at an Italian restuarant where Bernie and Diana greated us to a picture exhibition of the Detroit convention!!

I drove that car and loved it, thought about buying it from Bernie and Diana about a year ago (and reconsidered and reconsidered several times since). But I was afraid with two others on the road I would not get it out enough and it would waste. So now I am glad I did not buy it, cause your son will probably drive it every day and with considerable pride, I am sure. Good luck with it. You probably would have never found a better one anywhere cause I know Bernie and Diana take good care of their Alfas.

Well here is my new Alfa that i'm heading up to WA this weekend to pickup. Its a 1964 Sprint GT. It's currently my Step-Fathers car that he is letting me have. With so many other projects he has going and the WA weather not being kind on the car, he decided he would let me take care of her down in nice sunny CA. She will be kept nice and warm in my garage. She needs a little TLC but he has done a great job keeping her in good shape. We still have the original black CA plates (Still has the 1967 tag on it) that i will be heading down to DMV to get placed back on the car.

Yeah i've had my eye on that car for almost 20 years. She sat in storage from 1967 to 1990. My Step-Father bought her and got her back on the road running a year later. Was his main car for many years till they moved up to WA 12 years ago. Just not a everyday car in WA weather. Had a little rust on her that just got fixed.
Whats going to be fun is the 10+ hour drive back to Sacramento with NO A/C. By the time i hit Shasta/Redding area it will be in the 90's.
But can't wait.. This weekend needs to hurry up.. Feel like a little kid.
