I cannot see your 147 without ID and password...
Anyway, I was in Genova last year. What a beautiful place it is!! I was driving down from Milan.
I also went to other places in Italy this year, including Mille Miglia in Tasucany. Amazing country!!

Nizam,
There's also another technical reason, that an engine slanted to one side introduces less vibration. If it were to be completely vertical the movement of the pistons would cause up-down vibration. It is a set parameter of a certain angle on all alfas.

Hope the old Two Liter Lover of Seattle can get his favorite two cars on the thread. The 1959 Spyder AR10204-00126 was my daily driver from 1964 until 1990 unless I had more than one client to haul around. Then I would use the 1958 Two liter sedan AR10200-00900. Amazing how we used to drive 100 mph without seat belts and think nothing of it. Now have three 164 models -- a 91 base for a daily driver, a 91 S for me, and an automatic 94 LS for Honeymom. And I still have the other cars, and many more. May your Alfas always run forever. Jay Nuxoll of Seattle
