Thank you for the response.
I just became an AROC member and looking to get in touch with other Alfisti in LA. But I thought it would be nice to have a Spider Club (or Group) in addition.
I see that you also own a 82 Spider Veloce. Such a beautiful car.

Welcome to Alfa ownership and the AlfaBB!
1. The local SoCal Alfa Club has a website at: AROSC Home Page . An all Spider club would be nice, but I think you'll find many friendly friends in the SoCal club.
2. I love the 1982 models because they have the older Series II body with the Bosch fuel injection. I live in St. Louis, Missouri.
3. Your car is beautiful! Enjoy her!

I love the 82 Spider for the exact same reasons you pointed out.
I prefer the Series II body to the later ones, and first model year with Fuel Injection.

I'm also looking for a Duetto, but our Spider is a 1974 Coda Corta.
The 156, 145 and 155 in the pictures are not ours anymore. We sold them some time ago, so we could put the money on the restoration of the 1972 GTV 2000, and a 1971 Fiat 124 Spider we also restored. Now my father is restoring the 1971 GTV 1750 and a 1969 Fiat 850s.

Sadly miss and hard to find a 2nd gen Gc8. Car was stolen and found 2 weeks later stripped to frame only...
