New pic of my toy!
Latest pic of my 1976 Alfasud used mainly for competition and club runs. Photo taken by my very capable son at a reserve not far from home.

Thank you Greig. I should get the car together by the end of the month and I'll post some updates then. I think I can even roll out my GTV and get some pictures of the three cars together.
Cheers,
Peter

You painted it right there in your driveway? My reason for asking is that I have at least one, maybe two, race cars that need paint, and I kind of like doing things myself.

They sure do look great, Jerry!! How did you drive them all over there? Drive one mile, then hike back and drive the next one two miles?

I bribed a couple local boys to drive my cars while I cruised in wife's spider. Nice to actually be able to see my cars on the road, other than brief glimpses in reflective windows.

The thread for "getting things right" is http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/testing-area/. Better to try it there first and then come back and let us have a look at your car. Welcome to the BB.
Nice looking Spider, mint condition. Tell us more about it.

Figured it out
Grey,
Thanks for the pointer on the Test Forum after a few more posts over there, I finally figured out how to add a picture. I'm trying to get up to speed with a new Nikon D90 and the whole Photoshop experience so this forum is very useful for helping to learn about posting process.
I purchased my Alfa from a gentleman in Charlotte who bought his cars from an Alfa collector. He also had a coupe in his garage and he didn't drive this car anymore. It is an '86 Spider Veloce with 59,000 miles. It has been repainted, but there are some minor chips and scratches in the surface. The interior is in good shape, but not mint. I don't have to do anything to it to just enjoy it. I put a new Ansa dual exhaust on it and she sounds great. Lots of fun to drive around town.

Happily on the track again
After a 2 or 3 year layover, the GTV is back on the track for its latest metamorphasys. First time on slicks and new suspension from Max at Alfaholics.
More tuning to be done, along with adv driver training, but absolute blast. Still looking for video of me going into turn 2 with the right front wheel 12" off the ground--an exhalerating, but short lived experience that we dialed out between sessions. Broke the 2 minute barrier finally, now all we have to do is loose the other 8 seconds...
