Thanks! I keep meaning to get it out to photograph it, but I'm waiting for the new carpet to arrive... I bought some used black carpet (supposedly in excellent condition) to replace the faded brown carpet. It needs a few dents pulled and then it'll be a real stunner!

new member - my new baby
hi
ron here from south africa.
finally realised a lifelong dream & got hold of a gtv:
its a 1977 2 litre, restored by the previous owner, but a couple of jobs to do:
- brakes ;needed bleeding - sorted now
- electrics; battery runs flat when standing, headlights dont work, rear light clusters dead
- paintwork: doors bubble in the sun (trapped solvent?)
- wing mirror
- real wheels; hopefully some momos if i can find them.

Cool man, looks like a lot of the hard work has been done already! Lots of posts here about dodgy electrics, you should be up and running in no time.........
