A wonderfull very clean and basic car. No polished parts under the hood.
Well done.
Happy motoring

I LOVE those rims. Though you could only have them on an Italian car... they look too much like a dartboard to put 'em on a British car. :-)

Great looking car.... in my view, one of few models that look fantastic in white.

Thanks Haig
I had driven down the road about a mile to take the photos and when I lifted the hood to my horror I saw it missing.
I guess I had been distracted earlier when I had checked the coolent and forgot to put it back on. Bad owner. I'll not forgive myself for that one.
I'm glad I decided to take some shots with the lid open.

01/44 to 04/44, 365th, 366th and 367th FS of the 358th FG with P-47D Thunderbolts from Leiston, 1/44 transferred from VIII to IX USSAF, moved again to High Halden.
04/44 to 10/45, 350th, 351st and 352nd FS of the 353rd FG from Metfield with P-47 Thunderbolts, from 10/44 P-51 Mustangs, returned to the USA. Flew 447 missions, lost 137 aircraft in action, claimed 330 air and 414 enemy ground kills, last mission 25/02/45.
